Prof. Dr. Ansgar Zerfass (Lead researcher)

Ansgar Zerfass

Dr. Ansgar Zerfass is Professor and Chair in Strategic Communication at the University of Leipzig, Germany, and Professor in Communication and Leadership at BI Norwegian Business School, Oslo. He serves as Editor of the International Journal of Strategic Communication (Routledge, USA) and Past President of the European Public Relations Education and Research Association, Brussels. His academic background is both in business and communications (doctorate, habilitation) and he worked in the corporate world for more than ten years. Ansgar Zerfass has published 34 books and more than 300 articles/studies and received numerous awards, i.e. the Pathfinder Award by the Institute for Public Relations, USA. He collaborates with blue-chip companies and renowned universities on several continents. A frequent speaker at conferences and in-house workshops globally, Ansgar Zerfass leads the ECM project since 2007 and coordinates all global Communication Monitor initiatives. Ralph Tench

Dr. Ralph Tench is Professor of Communication at Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom, where he is the Director of PhD programmes for the Faculty of Business and Law. He is President Elect of the European Public Relations Education and Research Association, Brussels, member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. He led the ECOPSI (European Communication Professionals Skills and Innovation programme) project between 2011-2014 - the largest EU funded public relations research programme. Prof. Dr. Dejan Vercic

Dejan Vercic

Dr. Dejan Vercic is Professor of Public Relations at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, where he heads the Centre for Marketing and Public Relations. He holds a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics and Political Science and was a Fulbright scholar at San Diego State University, USA. Dejan Vercic has published 12 books and written more than 300 articles, book chapters, reviews, and conference papers. He was awarded the Alan Campbell-Johnson Medal by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in the United Kingdom. Since 1994, he organises the annual BledCom International Public Relations Research Symposium.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piet Verhoeven

Piet Verhoeven

Dr. Piet Verhoeven is Associate Professor of Corporate Communication at the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands. His research involves topics such as corporations in the media, the framing of issues in the media and the consequences for knowledge levels of individuals and society. Piet Verhoeven started his career as a scientific researcher following several positions in corporate communications, including an in-house role in which he coordinated the strategic rebranding of Amsterdam Schiphol airport into an international brand. Prof. Dr. Angeles Moreno

Angeles Moreno

Dr. Angeles Moreno is Titular Professor of Public Relations and Communication Management at the University Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid, Spain, where she has served as director of diverse postgraduate programs in Communication Management. She serves on the Board of Directors of the European Public Relations Education and Research Association, Brussels, and of the Researchers Public Relations Association in Spain. Angeles Moreno has published extensively internationally and serves on the scientific and reviewer committees of prestigious international academic journals and congresses.
